Foam Lake School of Dance is seeking to hire 1 – 2 dance instructors for the 2021/2022 dance season. Applicants should be fun loving, kind, creative, and patient. Applicants need to be willing and capable to teach classes of all ages and abilities.
Foam Lake School of Dance is currently a recreational club that offers weekly classes to children ages 3 – 18. Classes age 6 and up prepare for and perform in one competition each year. All classes prepare for and perform in a year end recital. Current disciplines offered are tap, ballet, and jazz.
Teaching experience is an asset but is not required. Training and/or certification in CDTA, RAD, or ADAPT would be beneficial to the role.

Raymore Dance Club
The Raymore Dance Club is seeking one (1) or two (2) skilled, energetic, enthusiastic instructor(s) to join our dance family and lead dance classes in multiple genres for the 2020-2021 dance season.
We are located in Raymore, Saskatchewan, approximately 60 minutes North of Regina. Raymore Dance Club is a volunteer run organization that has been in operation for 30+ years, drawing in dancers from Raymore and surrounding area. We have approximately 40 dancers ranging in age from 4 years old to adult age, as we currently offer an adult hip-hop class.
We offer the following genres of dance: ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, acro and musical theatre. We currently run our competitive/recreation classes from Tuesday to Thursday with exam classes on Mondays, but are willing to adapt to instructor’s schedule and to take on more than one instructor for different days. Students are placed in classes according to age and skill level.
Our season runs from September to the end of April. We attend 2-3 competitions each season, with a recital in Raymore in April.
The successful candidate(s) would work with our dance club board, communicate with students and be dedicated to the well-being and instruction of our dance students. Instructors are responsible for teaching and choreography of groups and solos for competitions and the year-end recital. Certification is an asset but not necessarily required. We are willing to work with individuals who are interested in pursuing accreditation.
Our goal is to develop skills while enhancing self-esteem and confidence, fostering positive socialization, and promoting physical fitness, health, well-being, and teamwork.
Ideally, you are:
- Experienced, mature, reliable
- A strong dance technician with choreography skills
- Comfortable working with a variety of ages (from tots to adults)
- Able to provide quality instruction in a positive manner
- Able to commit to a September through April teaching schedule, including competitions and recital
